ka-ching lite

Every card you pull, priced and sounded.

Drop a pack-opening clip. Ka-Ching finds each reveal, looks up what the card is worth, and hands the clip back with a price banner and a sound effect on every pull — small pop for a bulk common, full jackpot cascade for the chase.

The video never leaves your computer. Everything below the detection step runs in this tab.

Drop a clip here mp4, mov or webm · up to 5 minutes · 3 clips a day, free

How it works

  1. You drop a clip. It stays on your machine. This tab makes a 360p, two-frames-a-second, silent copy of it — a few megabytes.
  2. Only that copy is sent to a model that watches it and reports each card reveal with a timestamp. Nothing is stored.
  3. Prices resolve in your browser, straight from Scryfall and pokemontcg.io, converted to pounds.
  4. You fix what it got wrong — names, prices, foils, the lot.
  5. Your browser renders the final video from the original full-quality file, banners and sounds burned in.

What leaves your computer

One thing: the compressed 360p copy, sent to the detection step and discarded. Not the original file, not the audio (it is stripped before sending), not the finished render, not the list of what you pulled. There are no accounts and nothing is stored server-side.

The site counts five anonymous events — a visit, a file dropped, a successful detection, a finished render, an email left — with no identifier attached to any of them, so I can tell whether this is worth building properly.

About me

Hi, I’m Sam. My journey into Magic: The Gathering started out of a simple need: I wanted to find good deals on preconstructed decks — precons — for my friends.

So I built a scraping tool to hunt down the best pricing, and that turned into buying stock in bulk from US and German suppliers and selling it on individually at MTG Precons, where I specialise in the harder-to-find decks — Warhammer 40k, Commander Masters, the ones that vanish from shelves. The goal has always been the same: a simple, straightforward way for MTG players to get quality decks without breaking the bank.

Ka-Ching came out of the same instinct. I spend a lot of time around rip and ship streams, and the clips are the best part — but getting them out of a two-hour recording is miserable. Scrub back, find the reveal, look the card up, cut it, caption it, do it again forty times. I wanted the good pulls out of a stream recording in minutes rather than an evening, so I made the tool that does it.

Built by one person, for people who open packs on camera. If it breaks or you want something added, tell me — I’m the one reading it.
